Well, I've lived on sailboats, and understand the great value they have for cruisers, and I don't mean monetary value. A cruising sailboat is intertwined with the soul of the owner. I also know how difficult it is to pull one's wet body aboard one, even in calm conditions. This young man's actions were nothing less than heroic. There is so much cynicism online these days, and I would wish we could more often attempt to uplift each other in this cold world, rather than ridicule
