Hallenstadion, Zurich
The Hallenstadion is not only the largest indoor venue in Switzerland, but also the most traditional. From the Rolling Stones to U2, from EMINEM to Barbra Streisand, all the great artists have performed here. In addition, events featuring Barack Obama, the Dalai Lama, and Roger Federer with his Match for Africa against Rafael Nadal have taken place. In electronic music, the Hallenstadion played a leading and influential role for over 20 years from 1993 to 2013 with the „Energy Raves,“ which significantly promoted the Street Parade both domestically and internationally, contributing to the establishment and success of electronic music in Switzerland at a very early stage. This made the Hallenstadion a well-known name in the world of electronic music throughout continental Europe.
